A year-end review on the tales which defined one transformational year!

This week, this chapter, is closing. How fortunate are we to have written it.

How lucky we were to be there then, to visit when we did. How lucky we are to have seen this place at all. But, reality.

I worry sometimes that I am overdoing this trip a little, but then why else am I here if not to live fully, wildly, deliciously?

To be on the sea is the truest way to experience these islands. There is something about them which always draws one to the fact that these are islands, to their isolation, to the breath of the beyond and the tenuous nature of their existence.

It must be formative, and if so an ever-present memento mori doubling-down on the reality of a country which owes so much to the surrounding sea.

In one sense, this is the literal culmination of a vacation years in the making and months in the planning. In another sense, I think I needed to prove to myself that it could be done.

But it was Ratatouille which told me that change is nature, and it was Hamilton which reminded me that I am never satisfied.

There is a rhythm to this living, this living, this living, and maybe we're at a point where it really a project of mine.

You write another, and another, and another. Time keeps moving, and the words keeping flowing (hopefully).
