Happy Christmas in July, everybody. ‘Tis the season to make your eggnog!

A poem written about an old hiking trail memory.

Writers create worlds and living things to populate them.  Then we get to share them.  That’s beautiful to me.

There’s a price to these things; to chasing dreams and building futures. No one likes to talk about it.

It’s delicious. It’s just damn delicious.

But maybe that’s also just what life is like sometimes. 

Ask yourself if these things would really be made better by adding literally any other cheese.

I need to get better at self-promotion. Maybe?

I’m not saying that if you’re a bourbon drinker or a gin drinker that you’re going to fall in love with vodka this way.  I’m just asking that it be treated with respect. 

A fabulous craft gin is a special drink, and Chemist Gin has proven to me that it’s perfectly delectable on its own.  Why mix it?  Three reasons, the first two flippant and sarcastic.  1, because I can.  2, for science.  3, that’s the fun of the art and beauty of cocktails.
